The tornadoes near the South Dakota-Minnesota border were just the beginning Saturday night as four more tornadoes have since been confirmed just west of Minneapolis.

As a major tornado approached Lubbock, Texas, meteorologists and storm chasers were amazed by what they saw on a radar screen.

Severe weather on Aug. 8 could include damaging winds, large hail and even a couple tornadoes, forecasters said.
