Summit County township ditching tornado sirens, implement new system
SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio (WJW) — Thousands of Summit County residents will no longer hear tornado sirens during severe weather.
The Highland Fire Department is still compiling maintenance reports on allegedly faulty tornado sirens during a March storm after some residents said they didn’t hear sirens at all.
