The Tōkyō Yūshun, also known as the Japanese Derby, is one of Japan’s most prestigious Grade 1 flat horse races for three-year-old thoroughbreds. Held annually at Tokyo Racecourse in late May or early June, the race covers a distance of 2,400 meters (approximately 1 mile 4 furlongs).
