Watch severe storms yesterday which produced tornadoes and very large hail form and move over the High Plains in this stunning view from space. You can see an initial morning boundary surging west from overnight storms firing into the afternoon and then more storms developing off of the higher terrain in Northeast New Mexico. These storms eventually all merge into one giant complex — but they were all very photogenic with hundreds of lightning strikes a minute. There is so much meteorology to te
